“Our son has traveled with Greg Morrissey for four years. Each trip has given him the chance to learn about new places, develop outdoor skills, and grow as a person. Travelers have fun while enjoying meaningful interaction with their peers and those in the locales they visit. We highly reccommend taking a trip with Mr. Morrissey.”

“Our 2 sons have been attending trips with Mr. Morrissey for 6 years. Not only did the boys have a wonderful time with friends and seeing new places, but we always felt they were well looked after and in a safe environment with Mr. Morrissey. We wish Mountain Goat Movement much success and are so grateful for the experiences and memories our sons have had on Greg’s trips.”

“I went on the Spring Lake Surf Trip. I was pushed to a limit and faced challenges like using all the muscles in my body to paddle to the waves. I had a great experience and met new Prep kids that I now call friends.”

“I went on the Lake Placid trip over the summer and had a bunch of fun with it. Feeling sore for a few days wasn’t so bad after being able to see the views from the tops of the mountains we peaked. I learned to just enjoy being outside with other people i’ve never met and overcoming challenges together as a group. Hiking up Mount Marcy was definitely challenging for me considering the day before I did my first ever hike and this massive sixteen hour hike up Marcy was next I wasn’t feeling up to the challenge but man getting to the top with everybody was honestly such an amazing feeling. I became friends with everybody on the trip basically and being together for a week definitely helped with getting to know how different everybody was but I had a lot of fun with the trip.”

“The ski trip I took to Stowe Vermont my freshman year lead to my love for the ski and snowboard industry. Before going on the trip I had skied only as a kid once or twice and I never really fully learned how to stop myself. This was not an easy mountain to learn on and I definitely struggled, but with two days of experience I was able to get from edge to edge on my skis. With that one trip I became addicted to the sport, and I am excited to go for my third time next year. I’ve been an advocate for the sport ever since that freshman year and I encourage everyone to go on this trip, as it has opened up so many opportunities for me.”

“I recently attended a trip with Mountain Goat Movement to the Adirondacks, in which we had climbed to the tallest point in New York(Mt. Marcy) along with other incredible mountains and other incredible views. Though it may have been tiring at times you remember the views and experience rather than the challenges. Along the experience I met new people and made new friendships to last a lifetime on what was an incredible memorable adventure.”

“I was apart of the annual ski trip. It was one of the most amazing trips of my life. Skiing the mountain with your friends. Making fun of them because were trapped in 4 feet of powder. But what made the ski trip truly special was the community of the Adventure Club.”

“I went on a day trip to surf down the shore with the Adventure Club. It was a really good experience because it was my first time surfing and I was able to get stand on the board for a few seconds. At first, it was really hard to catch a wave and get up without me falling off. But, eventually I was given more tips and I was able to do it. I also had a fun time playing spikeball and just hanging out as well.”

“This past summer I went on a Mountain Goat Movement trip to the Catskills. I learned about the plant life in the area and how to cook over an open fire. The hiking was challenging, like the dawn hike being so uphill intensive. I met people in my year and the year above me that i didn’t know before, and some freshman.”
